There isn't a day that goes by that I catch myself starting to pick up the phone and trying to call you.  I actually did that yesterday, only to hear that the phone was turned off.  I was going to tell you about the shrug that I made Chris.  It is so pretty, I know she will be thrilled.

There isn't a day goes by that I want to call and tell you something funny that happened here or that the dog has done.  But then I catch myself and remember that you are in a better place.  You are not in pain, you are not hurting and you are not worring about those hurricanes.

There is not a day that goes by that I tell you "I love and miss you", you already know how much you ar missed.  You look over our shoulders each and every day, you know what each one of us are doing.  You are laughing with us, crying with us and walking with us, just as the Lord is.

Remember one this Mother, You will always be with us, in our hearts, our memories and our thoughts. We may not hear your sweet voice say you love us, but we know you do.

Watch over each and everyone of us and keep our family safe.

I love you.....your baby girl in WV, Dorene

Christina Lynn

Today is the day of your funeral,
a day of mourning.
I sit at your funeral and feel a lot of pain.
Agony is taking over.

I pray to God that we will meet again someday.
I try to live a normal life but all I can think of
is your death.

Your death was a shock to me,

In a way that I was not expecting it be

The call came days ago.
When I answered the phone, I could feel deep down something
was wrong.
The call was from my mom.
I have never heard her cry so hard before,
she said you had passed and
"O' Chris she is gone"

All I could think of was you. And our special times we shared

The hardest thing was seeing the whole family together with you not there
and I know as days pass, I will get used to you not being here.

The pictures and clowns I see
remind me of you and the way I want things to be

Please oh please grandma know you will always be in my heart,
for that is a place that we will never ever be apart

Grandma, the sound of your laughter and your gentle touch
for these are the reasons why I love and will miss you so much

Christina Lynn

Grandma, I know that you are now at rest and that your pain is gone.  I wish I could have seen you and said good-bye and hold you before you left, but god works in his own ways and he couldn't wait any longer for you.  I know that your with loved ones where you are now and they are loving you and taking care of you for when we get there to be with you.  Your services were beautiful.  Your looked so pretty and peaceful laying there "JUST LIKE YOU WERE SLEEPING" as they always say.  I was just wishing you would have just woke up and said this is not real.  But it was real and I know in time that the pain will ease but there is nothing ever in this world that will ever take you out of my heart.

Jessi did real good readying my poem for you I was really proud of her and you would have been.

You had so many people come to see you so many flowers.  Alot of people remembered the "Yellow Roses"  they are your favorite.

Grandma, please watch over all of us and let us be safe.  Please keeping smiling and dancing.  I really hope that maybe that might have bingo there for you to enjoy.

I love you so very much and will miss you so very much.

David Harkins (Poet) quotes:

"You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on."

I never had a chance to say "good bye", you were gone so fast. One day you were telling me you loved me and then a few days later you were gone. If I could turn back the clock to the Sunday before you past, I would have hung on to your words a little longer. But we will meet again and that will be a joyous time. You are with the Good Lord now and he is planning our reunion. Just remember as I always will....I love you too.
